I wonder if I can convince the SBB to refund my Non refundable Super Saver Ticket I purchased for the Geneva Auto Show.

It will be refunded with the refund reason "Goodwill".
(I work as a Software Developer at SBB and work on the system that does the refund process)

The DeutscheBahn said it will refund all tickets originally purchased to travel to events cancelled due to coronavirus.

I believe it's a _force majeure_, so usually no refunds, unless a goodwill policy is intact.

In this case travel insurance would be valid. It's not required, but many if not most Swiss residents have policies.

They usually do but charge a 10.- processing fee, so it's rarely worth it.

I got some tickets refunded in the past. They were quite courteous with special cases.

I've even gotten a hotel costs reimbursed when my "guaranteed" train connection couldn't be made.
