So is anyone big using Tornado in production? I expected the development to stall with the buyout of Friendfeed

It was released post-buyout, so that makes no sense.
Well, may not exactly big but Quora is using Tornado in production.
Yes, but not the whole Quora anymore, Right now, they use it just for pushing chunks of javascript to browsers

Hipmunk is using it.
How ??

For the entire site or only some parts ?

just curious.

Not sure. I just gathered that much from the mailing list. My impression was they are using it for everything though.
I am not big or even production but unscathed.com is built on it. Development has been active and the project is well maintained and judging by the group it is gaining momentum.

Bit.ly appears to be using it. They even have a module they released for using tornado and mongodb. https://github.com/bitly/asyncmongo

Unscatter.com - sorry cell phone auto correct working against me.
We're using it in production at Braintree.
bit.ly uses it in production
Yeah, I was talking to Hilary Mason at FOWA and she mentioned this.

ImEveryone (my own site) uses it to, but we're not quite bitly sized.

We are using it in production at www.mixcloud.com to serve any long polled connections
We use it as well at Summify
