I think you're just using Whirlpool as an example, but they're not a great one. They have a fairly large IoT group that spans their entire ecosystem. (I'm a vendor in said ecosystem, and work with them on a weekly basis). Your point is well taken, though: I work with many smaller companies on their IoT products, and they aren't in a position to manage their IoT projects. |
