AMD used to have special "Eyefinity" series cards which supported up to 6 displays (as in a single card / GPU would have up to 6 display controllers). Though I don't know if that's still a thing, or whether they were well supported on linux, or how well they deal / dealt displays of different resolution. Also I'm pretty sure it only worked over native DisplayPort, so you'd need active adapters to plug in non-DP displays. |
