We recently installed two Curbs (energycurb.com) in our house and it's not only been very educating but also made it possible to zero in on the largest consumers. Upgrading the water heater to a heat pump unit took us from barely breaking even on our PV to a daily surplus of about 3kWh. The next largest consumers are the file server running 24/7 in the basement and my work machine. |
