5 years ago i wrote a C# code analyzer that found/suggested and fixed async versions of EntityFramework extension methods in your async functions. Example: if my function was async and it had a .ToList() function call inside it would suggest to use .ToListAsync() and with a click auto fix it in your function here is the repo for reference : https://github.com/aviatrix/YARA It took me couple of days to wrap my head around all of the new concepts, but it was quite fun!
To get it integrated with the IDE, you need "CodeAnalyzer" class, and that gets executed automagically and provides annotations in the IDE :) |
