Communists tried that. Didn't work very well. Worker owned co-ops will indeed solve this problem, because they are very hard to scale. So they won't ever reach the level where mazes are a real problem. This being said, they also have the potential to come with their own set of issues - trying to get a bunch of people to decide things is also a very time consuming endeavor. |
