There's such a focus on being proficient in our society... but being bad at stuff is not all bad. It's only bad if you don't accept it and move forward more strategically. The ability to recognize and admit the areas where we struggle / are mediocre actually allows us to better accomplish our goals. It took me a long time to realize this... I don't need to be good at anything to make and sell an app, for example. I can outsource the app development, outsource the website design, outsource the marketing... basically - hire people to do all of the work for me. You might say - that takes money! I don't even need to have the money or know how to write a business plan. All I need is an idea - then I outsource the writing of the business plan and use that business plan to attract investors. There are a lot of very skilled people out there - why not just borrow their skills to accomplish what you want to accomplish? |

Even more so if you are trying to sell people on some idea.
