i'm surprised by how many people on this forum have not stopped indefinitely at a red light on a bike. most lights i've come across are not calibrated for bikes so this isn't a rare occurrence. many states have a "dead red"[1] law for when lights are not operational. which permits the cyclist to proceed with caution after stopping.
