If you can employ yourself, there's the Dutch American Friendship Treaty, or DAFT. https://shawnindutch.com/ discusses it. The requirements are pretty basic - "have something resembling a business and €4500" if I remember right. I'm an American in Europe (Ireland myself) and once I got stamp 4 (takes two years) I become every bit as eligible for state grants and supports as a citizen. |
