It’s a little meta but I think the way this has unfolded doesn’t shine well on Danny Sullivan and his role at Google. Danny been in the search industry from pretty much the get go, he knows anyone who was anything in search, he “studied the great machine, knows things even Draal doesn’t know” [1], and yet he has been reduced to some sort of an after-fact PR person for decisions it seems he had no say on.
