Trying to understand Plaid's business model. Seems like they suck financial data from brick and mortar banks like Wells Fargo, then offer it to anyone via web API. Few questions 1. What is the bank's incentive to allow Plaid access to their data? 2. How did Plaid compete with whatever solution companies like Mint.com were already using to access financial data? |
