Without the Kinect (1 & 2) and Primesense cameras I wouldn't have been able to make numerous award winning retail Augmented Reality makeup and clothing tryon experiences. For that alone I have a huge appreciation to the pioneers in this area. I no longer work within FashTech but for a time period (~7 years) it was so much fun! It is a shame the B2B depth camera space has not really improved in the last few years, old colleagues and friends have had to resource discontinued old devices off ebay, etc, due to lack of alternatives. |
