Hah, those quotation marks definitely changed the way I see the brand identity of an American raincoat manufacturer. The manufacturer is London Fog, and their brand is supposed to conjure an image of sophistication by association with a romantic ideal of London. But the reference they are making is actually, at least somewhat, a reference to a euphemism for pollution. |
