There's plenty of space in the UK for housing. Just go up in a plane to look. The greenbelt curtails sprawl, and inflates housing value. I don't think low-density has to even be that bad. Dumping the inner/town city road network would be a huge boon, freeing that space for green leafy walk/cycle/scooter/ways and parks. |
