I should have said that I really want a general-purpose OS to prioritize perceived latency. Mobile OS (and gaming consoles) of course are tuned quite differently and in my brain I view them as completely different experiences when I use them. My desktop while significantly more powerful just _feels_ slower because of the latency. |
