Ask HN: What are good career switch options for data scientist

I am a bit bored with the data science field. Main reasons being slower pace, usually late/optional hires at startups, lack of understanding of value in bigger orgs, career ceiling after Director/VP level. At mid/later stage career, is switching to product, engineering, etc a good option? Anyone who has done it and is willing to share tips? thanks |
