> 5. Push comes to shove with surveillance capitalism. Do we want our cars recording everything and beaming it back to home base or not? I'm not saying it will get outlawed, but it will get decided. It's likely insurance companies will push laws making it a requirement in order to provide insurance services. (At the moment, they just ask you to install their devices in exchange for a "lower premium.") |
