I have a standard poodle and the breed is particularly susceptible to GDV (Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus). My dog got it suddenly at around 1.5 years old and our insurance paid out for the full emergency surgery (about 5k) with no issues; as with any providers the details are what matter. |
