Personally, I think the best thing to come out of Fortnite is the revenue stream making it feasible for Epic to create its own game store and compete with Valve/Steam. Steam had been pretty stagnant for years until EGS came along and started poaching exclusives (opinions of this tactic aside) and got them to finally improve their platform. |
