I think that "less accuracy for a certain race" + "facial recognition used for finding criminals" is where the word bias (notably "bias" and not "racism") comes from. The first sentence of the article backs up its usage of the word bias instead of inaccuracy: > "...casting new doubts on a rapidly expanding investigative technique widely used by law enforcement across the United States." emphasis mine |
