Cars require too much land area per person. Two dedicated parking spaces is only scratching the surface. There's gas stations, repair shops, dealers, and of course the actual roads. By the time you carve out enough space for these, sprawl is necessary, and horrible traffic is unavoidable. Personal cars are a failed experiment and a total aberration from historically successful modes of human development. |
