If there is a chance to work with a mentor on your coding skills, grab it and start engaging in it. Having a mentor gives you a platform to sound out your techniques, doubts and ideas. Also a platform for you to received the right questions. The velocity is only important to managers when they are using it for comparison against other engineers when doing performance reviews. Focus on getting it right the first time. |
