The problem is, most methods you propose to correct for individuals getting burned, may create more systematic problems, which may result in more individuals getting burned in the long run. These are incredibly complex systems which are not suitable for intelligent design. The best solution maybe is for individuals and the shared culture to get wiser, and this often happens only when there is enough collateral damage. |
