> It would seem to me that the ability to express one's views would be orthogonal to one's viewpoints on various matters. Since when? I know quite a number of brilliant engineers in different fields. Most of them should never be put in front of a camera or a general audience for public speaking. Having strong and even well understood viewpoints does not mean you have the ability to translate them outside of your domain well. That is a rather rare trait. |
