Why is heapster in this? Let it die already...

I feel bad every time I have to deploy that old rotten piece of code because a lot of our dashboards still use those metrics.

Hi, it's because metric server is not yet "stable" and fully integrated with dashboard. We keep monitoring it closely and ready to do the switch.
