Something I have noticed several times and I can’t understand from an EU perspective is this: in the US a company you have a contract with (ie a company you are paying for a service for a certain amount of time) can change their tos / contract with you without prior notice and without having to at least honor the previous agreement until your current billing period expires? For example if I paid for 1 year, I would expect the contract available at the time of payment should apply for the entire year or offer a refund if you don’t want to accept the changes. And always with at least two weeks of notice |
