He got a parole hearing because of a 2014 California law giving parole hearings to all people sent to prison who were under 18 at the time of the crime. Would the parole hearing be racially biased? The Last Mile's screening process doesn't appear racially biased, it required no infractions in the last 2 years, passing a logic test, and no cybercrimes. Would Checkr's hiring be racially biased? They have a special program for hiring ex-criminals, it seems strange that they would be simultaneously racially biased. |
