If you right click on an image you get an option named "open image in new tab". You can just share the direct link to the image.

That does not work most of the time. Browsers send different http accept header when image is clicked vs hotlinked on img tag. imgur looks at the header and redirect the image to the image page when clicked on the direct link.

that is possible too, even though they don't encourage it.

what I meant was when you click on the last link, sometimes it redirects to https://imgur.com/vjdfNOe making the direct link pointless.
