Isn't LeBron entitled to his own opinion? Maybe he's pro-China. Maybe he's a fan of what the CCP does.

I thought avoiding forced uniformity of thought and opinion is the whole point of free speech.

Sure. And everyone else is entitled to the opinion that publicly supporting a violent fascist dictatorship in order to line your own pockets makes you a huge ass. Isn't free speech wonderful?

"Forced uniformity" is not when lots of people call you out for having a bad opinion. "Forced uniformity" is when the government murders you for stepping out of line. You know, like China does.

I don't think that's clear. CCP have grown the economy in China massively. That's why Chinese are so patriotic. Could be that Lebron is drinking the Kool Aid.
