Yeah, it’s beyond sad to me that TRUMP is the guy who just happens to be standing up to the authoritarian threat of China. Why can’t we get a proper leader to do the same? Are any of the Democratic Party nominees making good noises about China? |

Generally this isn't a very partisan debate. Most people who support Hong Kong do so in the name of democracy or self-determination. Most of China's supporters are acting in their economic self interest or because of appeals to nationalism.
