Yeah, the percentage statistics are worded kind of oddly. I tried spain, which has about 18% unemployment rate vs the US's 9%. It tells me I have a 94% greater chance of being unemployed in spain. It took me a couple seconds to get my head around the meaning of that. It seems like a better wording might be something along the lines of "You're 2x more likely to be unemployed", or something to that extent. |
