I believe the majority of CC licenses are held by companies in most place regardless, so the minimum wage isn't as important to factor that in. The majority of transactions in day-to-day life in VE at this point is done using USD or bartering, so the local currency isn't quite as important either. Everything is under the table. A lot of Venezuelans make money by doing freelance jobs, and I know many very skilled web devs that make really good money by doing foreign freelance jobs. These jobs may require CC licenses, so it screws them over. |
