Someone's gotta do the job. I've thought that inserting IVs is something that nurses struggle with a lot and maybe could be automated. It would be an absolute nightmare to develop that robot though, as you'd have to go through all of the medical device certification on top of dealing with all of the edge cases of human anatomy. |
