In VSCode there is no modal - ctrl-f then type (regex is supported) and it autoscrolls + highlights in the text, the minimap, and the scrollbar. No mouse (unless you want to) - you don't even need to press enter. So apart from lacking the visual feedback of scrollbars etc, sounds like emacs is the same. |
