My friend has a BMW and the touchscreen is awful. I can't imagine using that thing to do anything while I'm driving. It looks like it was designed for someone to use on the comfort of their bed, where they can afford to mis-click, not know where the hell to find a page, etc.

The only reason I absolutely need a screen in a car is for visibility. Pretty much all the risk in parking/reversing is removed when your car has external cameras. The other functions don't make much sense to me. If you wanna play video games and watch movies while you're driving, it better be a smart car.
