Not having to accept terms is the point, or one of the major points, though. As an employee, you're beholden to the company, whereas as a volunteer, you don't owe them anything. That doesn't mean exploitation isn't real and shouldn't be combated, but I think there's also a grey area that should be acknowledged. By the way, what do you think of open source, and companies which use it? |
