There seems to be some disagreement in the comments about relative salaries in Berlin and Canada. A tool I've been using to get a rough idea of salaries in different parts of the world is the GitLab compensation calculator: https://about.gitlab.com/handbook/people-operations/global-c... According to this, salaries for software engineers are about the same in Berlin and Toronto (about 0.55 of Silicon Valley salaries). |
