I too care about the weight and size as I travel with my laptop everywhere, literally everywhere. But I don't like having to carry extra connectors/adaptors (esp SD Card and ethernet port). In my backpack, the screen presses on the keyboard and is leaving a mark on the screen. A simple 1 meter fall on soft carpeted floor can dent its corners and cause the lid to not close fully flush. These damages are not worth the few millimeter thinness or few grams of weight needed for added structural strength. These are things I wish they addressed while pursuing thinner/lighter MacBook Pros. |
