No. "Ionizing radiation" is not a reference to breaking hydrogen bonds. It _can_ affect covalent bonds (introducing them or breaking them), but hydrogen bonds are not the same thing. This research likely has no direct impact on how we understand the effects of EM radiation on DNA. |
