While I would totally love to see nuclear fusion be an option, I am afraid the timeline simply does not fit the challenge. Realistically, we won't be able to have nuclear fusion production-ready under less than 20 years, and most probably ~40 years. If we do nothing in the next 20 years, it's not 2 degrees we are looking at, but 4+ degrees. The difference will be millions vs billions of deaths. |
