I think self managed censoring is equally impossible. It is twitter’s model, and it puts an incredible burden on the most targeted or vulnerable users. Or to get back to reddit, the model works for people who stay focused on a very limited set of subs (default filters are horrible); I think that would be close to your idea of personally tailored censoring, but it goes too far in the other direction IMO, unexpected information becomes very hard to reach people. |

There are no way to downvote people or provide a score that can be used (even in a very optional way) by people who want to filter out the noise.
