I was sort of expecting to see multiple results too, but it's a bit harder to execute on that in a user-friendly way. An easier alternative may be encouraging the user to check other pages by saying something like: "More results relevant to your search: Bing (20,000) | Yahoo (13,450), AOL (3450) ..." etc. Or using async calls for conducting the same search on an alternate engine while the user is still reviewing the first set of results, and showing just a peek to the new set of results... |
