I can relate somewhat. Even with the 5 year mark. 19 years in, somewhere along the line it seems we learnt to understand and love each other. Just wanted to provide the data point, such a thing is possible. One thing that might be just the thing is to checkout the model of “non violent communication” by Marshall Rosenberg.
