you are perfectly free to tell anyone whose house you're going to that you will not go anywhere that has a doorbell camera. Doorbell cameras give perfectly adequate views of many places other than people's porches. If Google wants to put a data-collecting robot on the street with a big sign reading "We're scanning your face to sell to advertisers!" there's nothing I can do about it, but at least it's honest. Google using Nest cameras to scan the activities of people just walking down a nearby street is not cool. |
