It sucks that the protocol is proprietary but there seems to be a reasonably healthy ecosystem of 3rd party Slack clients so that advantage isn’t totally gone. I find the wee-slack plugin for the WeeChat IRC client to be pretty good (https://github.com/wee-slack/wee-slack) |
