Given fb's history of lying, it's only an assurance that they won't overtly use such data. No guarantee that they're not still storing it on a server somewhere, and good luck proving as much. Also, what does this mean for people without accounts that are being tracked? I wonder if facial data is collected on them too, after being labeled by friends. |
