In the US baby boomers and GenX were not buying houses without loans. Maybe it was different in Europe. Not everyone in the US needs student loans. My state has a 100% tuition scholarship that is funded by the lottery. You have to stay in state unless the degree isn’t offered in the state. A lot of people I know with the highest loans made the most short sighted and insane decisions. I can give a few examples. |
