I feel the same. The problem is, companies use this heightened productivity to pile on more and more work. So I struggle to get things done, even on time, when I'm context switching a lot. Part of this context switching is self-distraction, part of it is work distraction. People are known to not be good at gauging their actual work hours. So, when people say they work so much, I'd be skeptical of those claims. |
