You can't by just reading more. You also need to be able to read critically, and be able to spot manipulative arguments. It's actually quite hard. Historically, journalism is meant to take the impartial stance, but lately, this ethical stance seems to no longer apply as more and more "journalism" (both online and offline) swing towards bias and clickbait. |
